Description
Our flagship product, the Sparrowhawk Radar, delivers high-performance, non-cooperative detection and tracking of aircraft and unmanned aerial systems, supporting DAA functionality for BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) drone operations and enabling safe integration of unmanned aircraft into controlled and uncontrolled airspace.
Building on this same detection and tracking capability, Sparrowhawk also serves as a powerful counter-UAS tool, giving operators early warning and situational awareness against aerial threats to critical infrastructure, military installations, borders, and public events.
Sparrowhawk systems are designed for flexible deployment, and can be fixed-site, vehicle-mounted, or tripod-based (portable), as well as support multi-radar networking for extended or redundant coverage. The radar's form factor, low power consumption, and rapid setup make it suitable for both permanent installations and rapidly deployable operations.
Beyond outright system sales, Canadian UAVs also delivers Contractor Owned, Contractor Operated (COCO) ISR flight services using the Aerosonde Mk 4.7 UAS. A proven tactical ISR capability delivering persistent surveillance, real-time target detection and autonomous tracking in complex operational environments with over 750,000 flying hours. Deployed and operated by a veteran-led team with over 100 years of combined military, operational and aviation experience, translating advanced UAS technology into real-world battlefield capability. The "COCO" model gives NATO and allied customers a rapid, low-risk route to ISR coverage for exercises, operational surges, or capability gaps, with Canadian UAVs operating the platform directly on the customer's behalf.
Canadian UAVs Inc. operates internationally through its UK subsidiary, Sparrowhawk Aerospace Ltd. (Bristol), supporting NATO, European defence, and law enforcement customers. The company is actively pursuing NATO interoperability programmes, European C-UAS procurement initiatives, and UK MOD opportunities.
At MSPO 2026, Canadian UAVs / Sparrowhawk Aerospace looks forward to presenting our latest radar capabilities and discussing partnership, distribution, and integration opportunities with Polish and international defence and security stakeholders.
