Description
BROLIS focuses primarily on developing some of the world’s finest infrared laser products, covering the spectrum from near- to mid-infrared. The company’s unique specialization and epitaxy capabilities—among the largest in the world—for the production of gallium antimonide (GaSb)-based optoelectronics have enabled BROLIS to develop a range of record-performance devices on the largest industrial GaSb substrate platform available on the market. BROLIS’ core technologies include molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) of advanced III-V materials, integrated circuit design, hybrid integration of III-V components with silicon photonics, advanced packaging and micro-optics, as well as complete electro-optical system design for the most demanding applications.
BROLIS has a complete R&D and qualification infrastructure, as well as all the necessary tools, skills, and experience required to develop the most advanced electro-optical (EO) and laser systems for defense and surveillance applications—from conventional visible-light aiming devices and advanced SWIR clip-on systems to state-of-the-art high-power lasers designed for Directed Infrared Countermeasure (DIRCM) systems. Deep expertise in semiconductor technologies and close cooperation with end users enable BROLIS to develop next-generation defense systems that meet the requirements of even the most demanding missions worldwide. BROLIS controls most of the system development process, allowing for rapid adaptation to customer requirements and ensuring the highest possible quality.
BROLIS’ extensive experience, highly qualified engineers, and close cooperation with the military, police units, and other government agencies enable the development of advanced defense systems—from next-generation night vision devices to short-wave infrared (SWIR) and long-wave infrared (LWIR) systems. BROLIS’ strong engineering capabilities, continuous development, and commitment to innovation enable the company to offer the most advanced systems, including the world’s first SWIR clip-on aiming system.
