About the event
FILVENT 2026 comes to a close. Clean air, safe working conditions and efficient ventilation in the spotlight
The first FILVENT trade show added a specialist area focused on industrial filtration and ventilation, dust extraction, industrial ventilation and air conditioning, air quality, process safety and energy efficiency to Industrial Autumn. The exhibition featured solutions for manufacturing facilities where the effective removal of dust, fumes and other pollutants is not simply a matter of comfort, but above all a question of people’s safety and the smooth running of technological processes.
‘Clean air in the production hall starts at the workstation’
One of the themes to feature prominently at the trade show was the importance of capturing pollutants as close to their source as possible. An expert from GPPH, FILVENT’s strategic partner, stressed that ‘clean air in the production hall starts at the workstation’.
This approach means moving away from thinking solely in terms of ventilating the entire hall and towards effective protection for workers directly at the point of operation. Properly designed extraction systems and filtration and ventilation solutions can limit the spread of pollutants, improve working conditions and increase the overall efficiency of the installation.
FILVENT brought industry and academia together
An important part of the final day was the ‘Industrial Filtration and Ventilation’ seminar, organised with the substantive support of the Kielce University of Technology. The meeting demonstrated that air quality now cuts across a wide range of areas, from industry and energy to public buildings.
Engineer Ewa Zender-Świercz PhD. Hab, a professor at the Kielce University of Technology, discussed air quality in educational establishments. The topic highlighted the importance of proper ventilation not only in production halls, but also in places where children and young people spend many hours every day.
From clean air to energy savings
The seminar program concluded with a presentation by Dr. Robert Kaniowski, DSc, Eng., on insulating materials and thermal conductivity. This broadened the discussion around industrial filtration and ventilation to include another key issue for industry – efficient energy management.
The inaugural FILVENT demonstrated that air quality, worker safety and energy efficiency increasingly need to be treated as parts of the same process. A modern installation should not only remove pollutants effectively, but also operate efficiently from an energy perspective and be tailored to the specific workstation and technological process.
The first trade show and the first medals
FILVENT’s debut also featured at the Industrial Autumn Gala. GPPH, the strategic partner of the inaugural edition of the trade show, was among the companies recognised during the event. The gala provided an opportunity to sum up the first edition and recognise technologies responding to the industry’s current needs.
FILVENT finds its place within Industrial Autumn
Bringing FILVENT together with the METAL, HEAT TREATMENT, NONFERRA and CONTROL-TECH trade shows made it possible to look at the production process from a much broader perspective. A modern factory is about far more than machinery, materials, automation and quality control. Equally important are the working conditions, air quality, and effective, energy-efficient technical installations.
