The photovoltaic market leader exhibits at next year's Enex Expo! Fronius Polska is also a strategic partner of the Kielce energy industry’s meeting

20 october 2023
Fronius, in business for over 77 years, is an important player in the global renewable energy sector; it has been successful in RES sector for over 32 years. Very few companies can boast of such a history. The Fronius brand appeared in Poland over a decade ago. Fronius has continued the success story in Poland and has continually set trends in the local photovoltaics market. You can read about the company's achievements in an interview with Maciej Piliński, sales director of Fronius Polska

Fronius boasts over 77 years of experience and the company is a leader in photovoltaics. Do you have ambitious plans to develop production in Europe? What actions are you taking? What makes Fronius stand out on the market?

- Fronius is a European company that has been developing its presence here, in Europe, for almost 8 years. Therefore, production based on respect for the environment, i.e. in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, is very important to us. We make sure that CO2  emissions form the production of our products has beem minimised to the greatest possible extent. We pay attention to transport related to the production process, we use energy from renewable sources, for example from photovoltaic installations on the roofs of our factories. Other aspects are also important to us, e.g. data security. The data is stored on servers in Europe which offer the highest level of security certificates. For 9 years I have been supporting the development of the national technical support department, which is an essential element from the point of view of installers – emphasises Maciej Piliński, sales director of Fronius Polska.

In 2021, Fronius celebrated its 10th anniversary in Poland. Over this is the you have developed almost tenfold, setting trends not only in the photovoltaic industry, but also in the welding and battery charging industries. How do you see this time?

- Fronius Polska LLC has been in the Polish market since 2011. The Solar Energy business unit, which I have the pleasure of representing and built from the beginning, has been present in Poland for over 9 years. It has been a very interesting time, we have managed to create an efficient organisation with several people, We have developed structures. We fully respond to the needs of our installers and our customers, providing them with technical support and access to training and marketing materials. We have created unique tools such as the forum-fronius.pl platform – adds Maciej Piliński.

In addition to many successes, you faced problems such as temporarily limited product availability. What were these difficulties and how did you deal with them?

- It was a difficult period for us;  for over a year and a half, the availability of our products was severely limited, mainly due to the pandemic. We faced shortages in the supply of key components and the dynamically developing renewable energy market around the world. We are a global company that delivers its products to all continents,  we have expanded our factory more than twice and more than doubled our production capacity. Thus, we are now able to offer our customers a sufficient number of products – recalls Maciej Piliński.

Intensified production activities are not everything,  you have also introduced a very interesting marketing campaign called "We're back". What message do you want to convey?

- By starting the "We're back" campaign, we have taken actions - a greater presence in the media. We communicate to our customers and distributors the full possibilities; orders for our products are delivered timely. We also try to visit our customers, FSP partners, installers and distributors to inform them about new products in our offer. - he adds.

You have exhibited at the Kielce energy industry expo for several years. Why did you decide to become a Strategic Partner of the ENEX?

- We have participated in the Enex for several years. During this time we have noticed the expo’s dynamic development. A significant part of the Enex exhibition space is devoted to the renewable energy sector, which proves that the Polish RES market finds this event important. No other expo has enjoyed such a reputation and market position. I believe that our presence at Enex in the capacity of a strategic partner is pivotal; we are one of the most important companies among manufacturers of photovoltaic equipment. – emphasises Maciej Piliński, sales director of Fronius Polska.

The new and proven products offered by your brand delight every year with the latest technology and the highest quality. The company's latest offer on show on 7 and 8 February 2024 during the  EKOTECH expo;  What have you prepared for Enex to the interest of visitors?

- In addition to the flagship Fronius solutions, i.e. inverters, energy management systems and electric car charging stations, we will also want to present some new products, as well as innovative functions of our products. We have very interesting premieres in the pipeline. I cannot reveal details now, these will be available during the Enex. I cordially invite you to visit the event. – explains Maciej Piliński.
