The Chamber of Municipal Industries joins EKOTECH 2026 – the voice of municipal sector entrepreneurs

16 March 2026
The Chamber of Municipal Industry (IBK) joined the milieu of exhibitors at the EKOTECH 2026 Expo in Targi Kielce. The organisation, which brings together entrepreneurs from the municipal economy sector, will present its activities aimed at protecting the interests of the industry and supporting companies in the areas of legislation, cooperation and market development.

The Municipal Industry Chamber was established in June 2021 as a continuation of the activities of the Association of Waste Management Employers, a nationwide organisation associating entrepreneurs in the municipal economy sector since 2004. IBK operates as an independent employer organisation, representing the interests of municipal companies and supporting their development in the changing legal and economic environment.

The Chamber's mission is to protect the rights of entrepreneurs and represent their interests towards public institutions and market partners.  Experts and members of the IBK Program Council provide opinions on draft laws and regulations across various areas of commercial law, ensuring that entrepreneurs' needs are taken into account at the stage of drafting regulations.

The Chamber's activities include intervention and protection activities in matters concerning entrepreneurs, information and expert activities, as well as support for companies in contacts with public institutions.  The organisation also provides analyses, reports and information on changes in the law, enabling entrepreneurs to better prepare for new regulations.

EKOTECH 2026 Expo welcomes representatives of the Municipal Industry Chamber, who will speak to entrepreneurs about industry cooperation, opportunities to represent company interests, and activities to develop the municipal sector in Poland.
