This year's Founder's Day will be combined with a technical conference on "Challenges for the foundry industry". The foundry industry, as an energy-intensive industry, faces many challenges including high prices of raw materials and energy, workforce shortage and the need to modernise machines. These are some of the basic challenges in this sector. Meeting these challenges is necessary to ensure the competitive advantage of enterprises in global markets.
The conference will be mainly devoted to the modernisation and innovation possibilities, solutions designed for energy consumption reduction, digitisation, changes in production processes, more stringent demands for castings and the implementation of the Industry 4.0 idea.
