Spotlight on Cybersecurity at POLSECURE

The event devoted to public safety and security and targeted at uniformed services subordinate to the Ministry of Interior and Administration makes its debut. Not only is the trade show an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with the offer of companies specialising in the production of special equipment. Also, this is the chance to exchange experiences and talk about the real needs of uniformed services. Cybersecurity will be the event’s leitmotif

The Polish Police Headquarters is the  Polsecure Expo  co-organiser; the HQ, among many other entities, is represented in the Program Council. There are also representatives of the Border Guard Headquarters, the State Fire Service Headquarters, the Prison Service, the State Security Service, the Internal Security Agency, the National Centre for Research and Development, the Financial Supervision Authority, the Chief Road Transport Inspectorate and the Government Centre for Security. The trade show is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

The three-day expo’s agenda abounds with conferences and lectures important from the point of view of safety and security. Nowadays,  cybercrime poses is a significant threat to society; therefore, a strong emphasis is placed on cyber-related topics, including network security. In addition, the event will abound in several thematic conferences on monitoring issues and innovative technologies. The latter are sought after by companies looking for safe, contactless access control tools to be used in the pandemic era.

On the first day of the International Police and Public Safety Expo, the WB Group, the strategic partner of the event, signed a cooperation agreement with the Secondary School Complex No. 1 from Tarnobrzeg. The manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems helps educate technical staff in uniformed classes; the school curricula related to crewless aerial vehicles is thus created.
