The design of new police cars - the preview of what the Police could look like has been demonstrated many times at various shows. From now on, you will also be able to see the police vehicles on the streets of Polish cities as the official unveiling was held at the International Police & Security Expo POLSECURE

On 2 February 2022, the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of January 3, 2022, amending the regulation on the technical conditions of vehicles and the scope of necessary equipment, entered into force;  the amendment pertains to three key elements of police vehicles:

- warning flashing lights come in three more times - instead of 10 LED lamps, each police car will get 30;

 - the marking pattern changes, and additional reflective elements are added. Additional reflective elements in the form of yellow-green fluorescent stripes can also be mounted on the car. Similar solutions will also apply to police motorcycles.

- no colour and background of the lettering POLICE is specified.

As emphasised by Superintendent Dariusz Augustyniak, I Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Police, during the presentation of the new police cars, the planned change in the appearance of the vehicle is primarily designed to increae visibility.
