Sport in the police is part of the ethos of service. Conference entitled "100 years of sport in the police - history and the present day, inaugurating the 100th anniversary of Sport in the police" on

The event was attended by famous sports figures - Sandra Drabik, Polish boxer, Olympian from Tokyo, Dorota Idzi - Polish pentathlete, multiple medalist of the World and European Championships, participant of the Olympic Games, Otylia Jędrzejczak - Polish swimmer, Olympic champion, two-time world champion, five-time European champion and Robert Korzeniowski, Polish athlete, four-time Olympic champion.

The meeting, attended by students of uniformed classes, was opened by Chief Inspector Roman Kuster, First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Police.  Participants had the opportunity to learn not only about the history of Polish and Lithuanian police sports competitions but also how to practice sports healthily and injury-free. The expert panel included award-winning police athletes.  The event ended with the announcement of a competition for the most popular athlete.
