Bezpieczeństwo państwa potrzebuje biznesu. RARS o konkretach współpracy na POLSECURE
The exhibition dedicated to uniformed services, held at Targi Kielce, discusses and analyses the issue of security on many levels. One of the most important is the issue of rail transport safety the Railway Security Guard is the oldest uniformed service in Poland, ensuring the daily safety of nearly 7,000 passenger trains in Poland and almost 1,000 freight trains. The conference showcased the difficulties faced by SOK employees during their daily work, including explosives at stations and on trains, examples from emergency situations, and public awareness, and how much still needs to be improved in this area.
During the discussion chaire by Inspector Bartosz Iwasieczko, the participants: Sylwester Wesołowski, head of the Railway Security Guard department for counteracting threats, Director of the Security Office of PKP Polish Railway Lines, subcommittee Filip Nowaczyk from the Prevention Bureau of the National Police Headquarters and Michał Zagalski, Director of the Security Bureau of the Polish State Railways, focused on, among other things, rail transport safety priorities, the greatest threats to the railways, and cognitive warfare.
During the discussion, the guests gathered in the Sigma room of the Targi Kielce Congress Centre had the opportunity to hear about both the threats and the methods of combating them, as presented by the Polish services. In addition to the issue of possible attacks using explosives, the role of artificial intelligence in railway security was also mentioned, including the prevention of suicides at railway stations.
