Dynamic show presentations which feature uniformed services. POLSECURE – realism, cooperation and spectacular live actions
The POLSECURE Expo offered participants the opportunity to witness highly dynamic and spectacular demonstrations by the services responsible for state security. The scenarios reflected real-world threat situations requiring immediate response, precision, and close cooperation among various formations.
The first show presented the activities of the State Protection Service and the BOA Bureau of Counter Terrorist Operations combat team. The scenario at a simulated border crossing during a VIP visit - when the suspicious vehicle was detected, SOP officers immediately began evacuating the protected person. Moments later, BOA operators intervened and carried out a dynamic detention of the suspects, with support from a service dog. The culminating moment was the discovery of a dangerous package in the vehicle and the actions of the pyrotechnicians who undertook to neutralise it. The demonstration perfectly illustrated the coordinated cooperation of services in a high-threat situation.
The next reenactment by the Border Guard depicted an attempt to cross the border illegally. Participants could observe the behaviour of a suspicious person who, after some time, attempted to forcibly enter the state territory. Thanks to the officers' vigilance and the patrol's quick response, the situation was brought under control. The arrest, securing the scene of the incident and further actions taken by the services showed what everyday border protection and response to violations of the law look like.
The culmination of the show was an action from the State Fire Service’s scenario, involving the ignition of a previously secured vehicle that quickly burst into flames. Firefighters immediately began extinguishing the fire, using specialised equipment and techniques to bring the situation under control quickly. Once the fire was extinguished, a thorough inspection of the vehicle was carried out to eliminate the risk of re-ignition and secure the area.
All shows were extremely dynamic, realistic and spectacular. The pace of action, special effects and the professionalism of the officers allowed viewers to feel the atmosphere of real operational activities. It was not only an impressive presentation but also a valuable lesson in how services cooperate in crisis situations and how important it is for them to be ready to act immediately.
