Like all Irizar buses and coaches, the i6S has been developed using the most advanced technology in terms of design, materials, components, and manufacturing processes. Extensive aerodynamic research and testing with the use of simulators and real-life measurements have shown an exceptional improvement in the aerodynamic coefficient by 30% and a reduction in fuel consumption and, therefore CO2 emissions by up to 13%. These demanding tests are proof of the solutions, making the i6S efficient in terms of consumption and sustainable development.

Irizar always adapts to the specific requirements of each market and customer. The company, therefore, offers the possibility of personalizing vehicles with an infinite number of configurations for right- or left-hand side traffic. The i6S has also been adapted to the combustion of diesel, biodiesel, natural gas, biogas and has been designed to be adapted to future zero-emission models.

The Kuwait Fire Force has recently collected a personalized Irizar i6S bus, and the vehicle will be used to transport high-ranking officials of the Ministry of the Interior. The vehicle will be used on special occasions such as national and international events.

The long list of equipment includes wooden furniture with Corian worktops, a kitchen with an additional fridge and a coffee machine, a toilet,  and USB ports for all seats. It also has several universal 220V sockets, heavily tinted windows and a Hispacold air conditioning system with maximum efficiency for temperatures above 50ºC, and an eCo3 air purification system to eliminate viruses and bacteria. In addition, the rear configuration of the vehicle has been designed so that it can also be used as a conference room with seven seats and a central table.
