Ukrainian delegations visiting TRANSEXPO. Eco-friendly buses in demand

13 october 2022
The 16th International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO hosts delegations from Ukraine. Our neighbours prosper for buses and coaches for urban transport use and efficient transport passengers from cities to smaller towns.

TRANSEXPO hosted representatives of Ukrainian institutions responsible for urban and suburban transport in Vinnitsa, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi and Uzhgorod.  They mainly look for 12- and 20-meter buses: the shorter ones are to be used for transport from cities to suburban towns, while the longer ones - preferably low-floor ones would facilitate travelling within cities.

Ukrainians are primarily interested in eco-friendly hydrogen and electric buses.  They were thus attracted by the premiere Pilea 12E, produced by the Polish ARP E-Vehicles, but also by Turkish buses, including Isuzu.

Representatives of Ukrainian institutions benchmark current offer of companies presenting their buses at Targi Kielce, and at the same time take the opportunity to invite producers to take part in tenders.

The particularly difficult situation in Ukraine, related to the missile attack by Russia resulted in the fact the arrival of Ukrainian delegations did not confirm their presence until the last moment.
