Heading for Pabianice 2026 – Targi Kielce’s auspices for the Industry Congress of Cities and Business

23 February 2026
Targi Kielce, the organiser of EKOTECH 2026, has granted institutional patronage over the 4th Congress of Cities and Business. The event by the Odzyskaj Środowisko Foundation will take place on 26 February 2026 at the Wool Factory in Pabianice under the banner "Are we still playing green...?" and will serve as an important meeting for practitioners and leaders involved in the development of sustainable municipal, environmental, and urban management.

The Congress will recapitulate a year full of key changes, including in the following areas: extended producer responsibility (EPR), electromobility, supply chains and logistics, launch of the deposit-refund system and legislation related to sustainable development. Participants will also look to the future and discuss how to build a modern, innovative economy while accounting for challenges related to energy and resource access, such as rare-earth elements. An important element of the agenda will be original workshops moderated by expert practitioners.

The event is addressed to a wide audience: business leaders, managers and company directors, local government representatives, environmental and ESG policy specialists, as well as people responsible for investments, infrastructure, spatial planning and the digitalisation of cities – especially those operating in the areas of energy, waste management, mobility and Smart Cities.

The partnership between Targi Kielce and the Congress of Cities and Business underscores the importance of intersectoral dialogue and joint action for transforming the municipal and environmental economy in Poland. For the EKOTECH team, the event in Pabianice is also an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and establish contacts that will pay off in the months ahead, as activities and investments unfold.
