Ceremonial by Marta Banaszek is a clothing line created with the final farewell in mind, a natural complement to this journey—a project dedicated to moments that are rarely spoken of, yet deserving mindfulness and aesthetics.

The collection was inspired by the work of Jacek Malczewski,
in particular, the Melancholia (Death) painting. His interpretation of death—full of silence, gentleness, and spiritual solace—became the starting point for a shift in perspective: moving from fear to acceptance, from burden to subtlety.

The collection is based on the belief that death is not an end, but a transition—a symbolic opening of another door.

In this narrative, not only farewell is important, but also the memory that remains with the loved ones. It is this memory that creates the most beautiful stories—tender, personal, and full of light.

For the designer, art became an impulse to reflect and redefine the topic of death. It is thanks to it that the collection was created and it not only responds to the need for aesthetics in the funeral sphere but it also is a profound understanding of women's history.
