Uni-Kat novelties at the STOM Expo – a welding robot with a plasma cutting function

This year's STOM welcomes Uni-Kat, which will present a modern solution for automating production processes. The company's expo stand will feature a welding robot equipped with a plasma cutting function that can work with various plasma units.
The system is distinguished by its great versatility, and the cobot enables precise cutting of flat elements, as well as work on more demanding details, such as steel profiles or I-beams. The robot can perform the basic phases of preparing elements for welding, and then, in the same station, carry out the welding process of the prepared joint. Combining cutting, chamfering, and welding functions in one system significantly increases production flexibility, shortens component preparation time, and reduces the need to transfer parts between stations. This solution perfectly meets the needs of modern, automated production.
