The industry facing changes – conference on 20 May at Targi Kielce

20 May 2025 - the first day of the Plastpol trade fair, the expo hall 5 (room E-3) hosts a conference organised by Plastics Europe Poland – an organisation bringing together plastics producers and promoting sustainable development in the sector. Analyses and up-to-date data on the condition of the Polish plastics sector in Europe—prepared based on the latest industry reports and statistical analyses—will be presented during the conference opening the PLASTPOL trade fair on 20 May.

Key industry information will be provided during the conference "The Future of Plastics: Recycling and the Path to Circularity," which prepares the Circular Economy and Recycling Cluster. It will be a space for real dialogue between representatives of the entire value chain—from producers through processors to recyclers and material designers. The meeting agenda includes debates, specific solutions, and directions for change.

Experts will address topics including the crisis in the plastics recycling market and eco-design for circularity. Panels and presentations feature speakers who discuss recyclables and how they are made, how to design materials for reuse, how to improve effective recycling, and how to close the plastics cycle.

Business representatives and journalists who would like to report on the changes taking place in the plastics sector are invited to participate in the conferences. Registration of participants of the Circular Economy and Recycling Cluster conference is open on this page
