The Congress of Urban Greenery, Water and Air’s is held on April 9 during within the scope of the Ekotech trade fair, the agenda includes a series of panel discussions with the participation of industry experts, scientists and representatives of public administration. The topics:

•  Cities of the future – intelligent management of greenery, water and air.
•  Green Cities Strategy – planning and management of green areas.
•  Blue-green infrastructure – effective water retention in cities.
•  System heating and cooling – use of fifth-generation heating networks.
•  Institutional models in environmental management.

The Congress offers participants the opportunity to become familiar with practical examples of effective pro-ecological actions implemented in various parts of the world.  And the topics list will include, inter alia:

•  Examples of urban land reclamation – Berlin, Brussels, Izmir, Kielce.
•  The example of Doha's green metamorphosis – from a desert city to an ecological oasis
•  Baku as an example of successful urban modernization
•  Bio4HUMAN – innovative biotechnological solutions for waste management in the humanitarian sector (project financed by the Horizon Europe programme, more at: bio4human.eu).

 Practical workshops for local government officials and residents

The Congress of Urban Greenery, Water and Air is not only theory, but also practice! That is why there will be ample workshops that will provide valuable tips on the green transformation of cities, financing ecological investments, and effective action from idea to implementation in the field of community gardens.
