Kielce Technology Park Startups’ offer for municipalities and industry at Targi Kielce
From 8 to 10 April 2025, Targi Kielce will host a meeting of municipal industry leaders. Sixty-two exhibitors from five countries will present innovative solutions in environmental protection, waste management, and technologies supporting sustainable development. The Kielce Technology Park also presents its offer addressed to this sector.
As KPT director Justyna Lichosik emphasises, the Park is not only a modern office space and laboratory infrastructure but, above all, a dynamic ecosystem supporting the development of startups that aim to change the world of technology, industry, and ecology. – Now, there are 324 companies operating in the Kielce Technology Park, which do not compete with each other but cooperate and exchange experiences. The director says we provide them with comprehensive support in running their business, from infrastructure to consulting and access to modern tools, such as automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence systems.
33% of the KPT tenants operate in the IT/CT industry, and 22% are companies from the creative sector. Other companies specialise in renewable energy sources, the medical and biotechnology industries, hydraulics and pneumatics, education, architecture and modern construction. – Among them are companies present on international markets; as exemplified by Podofarm, today’s global leader in the podiatry industry, adds Justyna Lichosik.
Seedia – Smart Urban Infrastructure Powered by the Sun
The startup Seedia's solutions are already operating in countries in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. The company, operating within the KPT structures, specialises in intelligent urban infrastructure that supports the construction of modern, ecological cities.
"Our products include solar benches, intelligent bus shelters, info kiosks, and multimedia totems," says Karolina Łaciak, a Seedia representative. The benches allow you to charge phones, offer Wi-Fi access, and collect environmental data, and some models are also equipped with cooling functions. Info kiosks support content management remotely, without the need for physical interference, e.g. with timetables.
The company also offers solar-powered charging stations for electric bicycles and scooters which enable the simultaneous charging of several vehicles, and management and monitoring systems enable their remote monitoring. – Our solutions support cities in reducing CO₂ emissions and developing low-emission personal transport – emphasises Karolina Łaciak.
Owing to its liaison with the KPT, the company can test new components, develop prototypes and conduct pilot projects in cooperation with cities in Poland and abroad. Seedia products can be found in Warsaw, Rzeszów, Toronto, Athens and Abu Dhabi.
CNC Predict – Artificial Intelligence in Maintenance
Startup CNC Predict joined the EKOTECH and presented solutions for the industry based on predictive maintenance, artificial intelligence, and data analysis from CNC machines. Their proprietary algorithms allow for:
- failure prediction,
- optimization of service schedules,
- reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
– Thanks to our solutions, one of our clients increased its aluminium processing from 40 to 100 tonnes per month – says Maciej Ryfa, a company representative.
The company develops technology in KPT laboratories and also conducts pilot implementations in cooperation with industrial partners.
Widnet Solutions – LUCY chatbot supports teams and managers
The KPT stand also presents an innovative solution for team management: LUCY, an anonymous AI chatbot created by Widnet Solutions. Its task is to monitor employee mood and engagement levels.
LUCY conducts short, approximately one-minute interactions with employees anonymously and spontaneously, a maximum of three times a month. Miroslav Draganov from Widnet Solutions explains that reports are generated on this basis for managers so they can make quick and accurate decisions regarding the team.
The company's data show that using LUCY can reduce employee turnover by up to 68% and recruitment costs by 50%.
