New directions of cooperation – “Business in Kazakhstan” conference during the EKOTECH Expo
The event features Kazakhstan presented as a country with vast opportunities to support foreign businesses and a favorable geopolitical location. The topics discussed during at conference included support tools for foreign investors, opportunities for Polish products in Asian countries and the role of transport infrastructure in developing bilateral cooperation.
Larissa Jumagaliyeva, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Poland, emphasised that Kazakhstan not only actively invites investors, but also dynamically develops support mechanisms for small and medium-sized enterprises from Europe.
The speakers pointed out that Kazakhstan is not only a strategic communication hub connecting the East with the West but also a market with a growing demand for modern technologies, agricultural products, machines, and industrial solutions. There were also ample practical voices from entrepreneurs who already operate in the region—their experiences were a valuable source of knowledge for companies planning to expand.
- Thanks to cooperation with Kazakhstan, Polish entrepreneurs have a simplified entry to China and other Asian countries, because they have concluded agreements on trade cooperation. – said Piotr Guzowski, President of the Polish-Kazakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in his speech.
The event ended with an open discussion session and individual B2B meetings with representatives of Kazakh companies at the national stand in Expo Hall 3, which served as a practical complement to the substantive part.
