THE 20TH CONGRESS OF DISTRICT ROADS MANAGERS HELD IN KIELCE
During the grand opening of the XX National Congress of Poviat Roads in the Targi Kielce, the guests were welcomed by, inter alia: Bożena Staniak, Vice President of the Board at Targi Kielce and Andrzej Bętkowski, Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. This year’s meeting of district road managers takes place under the banner of "History - Practice - Innovativeness".
After the official opening, the speakers raised topics related to the 200th anniversary of poviat roads. They talked about the changes that have occurred since the first poviats road managers meeting which took place in Licheń in 2000. Now it is the 20 edition of the assembly. The talks regarding the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Poland's Central Road Administration seemed to be one of the predominant aspects.
At 14.00, the congress guests began touring Kielce exhibitions related to road construction.
The organisers of the meeting - Targi Kielce, the National Council of Poviat Road Administrators, and the Convention of Poviat Roads Authorities in the Świętokrzyskie Province.
