Świętokrzyskie flavours and innovations at the ŚODR Świętokrzyskie for Agricultural Advisory Modliszewice stand during the Agrotech fair

10 March 2026
Regional specialities, traditional recipes and modern solutions in food processing will be presented by the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Modliszewice during the Agrotech trade fair at Targi Kielce (13–15 March 2026). At the expo stand housed in the Congress Centre, visitors will discover the flavours of the region's culinary heritage, centred around the Świętokrzyska Kuźnia Smaków® brand, and will also see innovative projects.

Świętokrzyska Kuźnia Smaków® [Świętokrzyskie Forge of Tastes] – the region's culinary showcase at the Agrotech fair

Świętokrzyska Kuźnia Smaków® is a culinary trail and a local brand of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. This is one of the largest projects of this type in Poland – it brings together 113 entities, including 87 food producers, 16 restaurants and 10 agritourism farms.

The branded products are made using traditional production methods, and their exceptional quality and character have been repeatedly recognised in regional and national competitions. Many of them are on the List of Traditional Products, and their recipes have been described in publications devoted to Świętokrzyskie cuisine.  These are dishes and products derived from family traditions, passed down from generation to generation.

Visitors to the ŚODR stand in the Congress Centre will be able to try a wide range of regional products, including:

  •  ripening cheeses,
  •  cold-pressed oils,
  •  fish pastes and baked goods,
  •  honey and traditional cold cuts,
  •  bread and natural jams,
  •  regional pastries and sweets,
  •  natural juices and craft beer.

The Świętokrzyska Kuźnia Smaków® culinary trail was created by advisors and specialists from the Świętokrzyski Agricultural Advisory Centre in Modliszewice and is an example of effective producer networking and the promotion of local food.

Conference on partnership in agriculture at Targi Kielce

The topics of farmer cooperation and the promotion of local brands will also be discussed during the "Partnership for Farmers" conference, to be held on March 13 at 12:30 p.m. in the Omega Room at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.

During the event, ŚODR Modliszewice director Agnieszka Pietrzak will present the topic "Partnership for the development of innovation and promotion of the local brand Świętokrzyska Kuźnia Smaków®".

"Our Garlic" – tradition and modern technology

The ŚODR expo stand will also present the results of the "Our Garlic" project, which combines the long-standing tradition of garlic cultivation in Ponidzie with modern processing technologies.

The project developed innovative methods for producing freeze-dried garlic products, including lactic acid fermentation (pickled garlic) and a controlled ageing process, resulting in black garlic. The project aims to create a technological line for producing dry garlic preparations that combine the health-promoting properties of garlic, the presence of lactic acid bacteria, and the unique nutritional and sensory qualities of black garlic.

Visitors to the expo stand will be able to learn about the process of creating these products, see the results of research and development work, and try the pickled garlic and black garlic prepared as part of the project.

The expo stand of the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Modliszewice, CK-01, will be located at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre. This is where the tradition of regional cuisine meets modern solutions for agriculture and food processing.
