SENSE Software Novelties at Enex

04 February 2026
SENSE Software specialises in developing advanced software that supports thermal imaging and has long been recognised as a pioneer in artificial intelligence in this field. Since 2018, the company has been the primary software supplier to Teledyne FLIR, and its flagship product – Thermal Studio™ – is the most frequently chosen solution among professional thermal imaging camera users worldwide.

ENEX trade fair, SENSE Software will present PV SENSE (https://pvsense.eu/) – an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform based on proprietary artificial intelligence algorithms, designed to automate the inspection of photovoltaic installations based on thermal images acquired using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

PV SENSE enables automatic detection and classification of PV module anomalies, the creation of interactive orthophotomaps, and the quick generation of summary reports compliant with IEC 62446-3. The solution significantly reduces data analysis time and improves operational and maintenance (O&M) processes for solar power plants. The platform is compatible with most thermal imaging cameras and does not require dedicated hardware or user integration.

Additionally, the SENSE Thermal Converter tool will be presented at the SENSE Software expo stand (https://www.sensesoft.eu/sense-thermal-converter.html), software that enables standardisation and format conversion of thermal imaging images, created for energy and inspection projects in which cameras from different manufacturers are used. The tool eliminates inconsistent data formats, enabling quick unification and further analysis within a single, consistent environment.

The solution is used, among other applications, for inspecting photovoltaic installations, where data from FLIR, DJI, or Autel cameras can be directly prepared for use in analytical, reporting, and photogrammetric systems (e.g., FLIR Thermal Studio, Pix4D). Automatic processing of large image sets, support for 16-bit radiometric TIFF formats, and configurable information overlays significantly reduce data preparation time and facilitate their further use in O&M processes.
