Rapid prototyping of metals - a fascinating seminar during the Industrial Spring Expo Cluster

This year's Industrial Spring abounds with extremely interesting, knowledge-packed meetings. One is prepared by Łukasiewicz - Upper Silesian Institute of Technology

"Rapid prototyping of structural elements", "Additive technologies - development and application of modern devices in industry" - these are just two of many topics that scientists representing Łukasiewicz - Upper Silesian Institute of Technology will present during the seminar. 

Since 1 January 2023, Łukasiewicz – GIT has continued the activities of three institutes, and has thus created an interdisciplinary scientific and research unit. This is the result of the merger of Łukasiewicz - Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy (on the market since 1945), Łukasiewicz - Welding Institute (on the market since 1945) and Łukasiewicz - Institute of Electric Drives and Machines KOMEL (on the market since 1948). The knowledge presented at the seminar will therefore be comprehensive and extremely interesting.

Rapid prototyping of metals at the STOM Expo in Kielce
- A new approach to product manufacturing - the use of 3D printing. Dedicated devices presented at the STOM Expo serve the purpose. These are supported with devices used in welding processes - explained Marek Węglowski at the beginning of the seminar. Wednesday, 13 March, marks the change in traffic organization at the intersection of Batalionów Chłopskich, Wystawowa and Malików streets in Kielce. Road services have started a comprehensive reconstruction of the area, and the current intersection will be replaced by a turbine roundabout.
