The professor of the Kielce University of Technology, the rector of the university for two terms in 2008-2016, presented his new publication at the Industrial Spring. The book is a knowledge compendium devoted to metrology and surface analysis. The publication is the result of several decades’ experience in the industry and the author's research and scientific achievements

In his publication, the professor refers primarily to industrial practice, and the book abounds in practical examples, illustrations, and useful content in engineering work.

Professor Engineer, PhD. Hab Stanisław Adamczak presented the most up-to-date metrology content  - the latest standardisation documents, innovative devices for metrologists, modern technologies and software.

The book discusses:

- computerised measurement systems,

- geometric tolerances,

- outlines of cylindricity, straightness, flatness, sphericality

- assessment of surface waviness and micro- and nano-roughness.

Geometric Metrology of Technological Surfaces is targetet at metrologists, technologists and constructors of measuring devices and apparatus, employees of control and measurement service providers and maintenance services, the machinery industry and related industries, and industrial design specialists.

The book presentation was a part of part of the second day of the Industrial Spring. This year's expo continues until Friday, 22 March.

For the first time in history, the STOM series exhibitors exceeded the 7 expo halls of the Kielce exhibition and congress centre. STOM visitors - see the access map!
Wednesday, 13 March, marks the change in traffic organization at the intersection of Batalionów Chłopskich, Wystawowa and Malików streets in Kielce. Road services have started a comprehensive reconstruction of the area, and the current intersection will be replaced by a turbine roundabout.
