PLN 3 billion contracts with PGZ signed during MSPO
On the first MSPO day, approvals for seven contracts for military equipment were signed. Agreement with ROSOMAK for purchasing 30 AWR artillery reconnaissance vehicles for the amount of PLN 1.6 billion, the vehicles are to be delivered in 2024-2026. Agreement with Military Communication Works No. 1 for the purchase of digital transmission & communication unit for the amount of PLN 880 million. The set is to be delivered in 2024-2026. Third, agreement with a consortium consisting of Military Electronic Works, Military Communication Works No. 1 and Military Armament Works for the purchase of 14 command cabins for anti-aircraft and anti-missile programs - WISŁA and NAREW for the amount of over half a billion zlotys. To be delivered in 2024-2025. Two contracts with JELCZ for the purchase of high-mobility trucks - 382 JELCZ trucks442 in 2023-2026 and 167 JELCZ trucks 662 in 2023-2027. The contract value is 880 million PLN. Agreement with PCO for the delivery of 5,000 SCT-RUBIN thermal vision sights and NPL-1TIM thermal imaging binoculars for nearly PLN 250 million. The contract is to be completed in 2022-2025. Agreement with WB ELECTRONICS regarding development works designed to develop GLADIUS-2 search and impact drones for the amount of PLN 50 million. Development work is to be carried out in the years 2022-2026.
- This equipment guarantees an increase in the defence potential of the Polish Armed Forces. We follow the principle - we mainly buy weapons produced by Polish plants thus we enhance production opportunities for the Polish defence industry. We will continue this work. This year's expo is one of the largest, I believe that they will be beneficial for the Polish defence industry - said Minister Błaszczak.

I am convinced that over the last 30 years we have proved that the Polish defence industry, especially the one associated in PGZ, has earned this opinion. Contracts with a total value exceeding PLN 4 billion confirm our position as a partner supporting changes taking place in the Polish Armed Forces. The signing ceremony of the agreement approval was attended by, inter alia: Head of the National Security Bureau Paweł Soloch, Head of the Armaments Agency of Brigadier General Artur Kuptel and the President of the Polish Armaments Group Sebastian Chwałek.
