28 april 2022
Not only police vehicles have undergone the image transformation this year; the POLSECURE police fair in Targi Kielce welcomes the Polish police representatives discussing image changes regarding the officers' uniforms.

The new full-dress uniforms are based on the police uniforms' style dating back to the interwar period but follow modern trends-design in line with the fashion world's developments.

The training uniforms have also been altered;  the black outfits will be replaced with the new navy blue uniform of a higher quality which meets the latest standards.

The prison service also undergoes image change;  the most important alteration is related to a new model of field equipment for prison service officers. The "camo" colour are now replaced with dark navy blue and uniforms are also made of more comfortable fabrics. - Changing the outfits' style has positively influenced the perception. The prison service is modern, and thus, its looks are also modern - says Maja Podolszyńska, deputy director of the Remand Centre in Gdańsk.

The uniformed service representatives announce that this is not the end of the changes of the formation -  "We have many ideas and intend to implement them," they say.
