Intermarché among buyers at the Private Labels Expo in Kielce. The goal - development of the product portfolio

The Private Label Expo welcomes the franchise chain of grocery supermarkets - Intermarché operating as part of the Muszkieter Group - the most prominent European association of independent entrepreneurs. The Group has joined the buyers fellowship of private labels show held on 15 and 16 November. The firm's specialists will be looking for new products showcased at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.

FUTURE PRIVATE LABELS - Poland's only event, solely focussed on private labels  The FPL offers the opportunity to bring together producers, distributors and representatives of retail chains from Poland and abroad; the Targi Kielce Congress Centre becomes the one-stop-shop for the whole business sector. Join us on 15 and 16 November.  Buyers come to establish business relations, the buyer milieu includes popular and respected retail chains and grocery supermarkets.


Intermarché strategy focuses on the constant development of its private labels. Now, the company's customers can find over 1,400 private label products on the shelves, almost 80% of which are produced in Poland by local entrepreneurs.

According to the company's specialists, the assortment of the network's products is very wide;  available in almost all market categories, from fresh products, through FMCG, to textiles and non-food. Since last year, Intermarché has been implementing a new marketing strategy grouping products under the umbrella brand O la la! in FMCG categories and a coherent branding system in fresh categories.

The common element of all Intermarché brands is the guarantee of their constant, high quality controlled at every production stage until it is displayed on the shop store. Intermarché cooperates with accredited laboratories.

- We want the products sold as private labels to be distinguished by excellent quality. Therefore, the manufacturer's choice is primarily determined by the product;  what counts in the first place is experience in a given category, quality, safety of breeding, cultivation, production. Also logistics that allows you to deliver products to our warehouses quickly and efficiently, without compromising quality are pivotal - say Intermarché experts.

The chain's development plans are comprehensive, which is why the company is open to cooperation with small, medium and large producers. Intermarché's suppliers include individual farmers, cooperatives, manufacturers and small production plants.

- We have examples of producers with whom we have been working since the beginning of our business activity, as well as those who, along with our development, have increased their production capacity - inform network specialists. They emphasize:  - Due to the planned intensive development of the product portfolio, we are joining the Future Private Labels Expo in Targi Kielce. We intend to meet the producers, talk about the offer, sales potential, and get to know their production and development plans.


Among the buyers, there are also entrepreneurs from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy and Portugal. Owing to the cooperation with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Polish Trade and Distribution Organization, the interest in the expo keeps constantly growing. This is the talk-shop time; in order to make the most of the B2B and trading meetings, the expo organizers have prepared the Hosted Buyers program for buyers from Poland and abroad. Buyers are offered free accommodation, meals and participation in accompanying events.
