Fruit and Vegetable Farming Expo commenced at Targi Kielce

311 exhibitors join the largest event in the industry in Central and Eastern Europe; 5 expo halls and 20,000 square meters of exhibition space welcome farmers visiting the show.

The event organiser - the Oficyna Wydawnicza Oikos from Warsaw holds the 13th unveiling of the show with 311 exhibitors ofering tractors, machines and devices for cultivation, harvesting and storage of vegetables and fruits, as well as fertilisers and protection products. Representatives of the industry from Poland and 15 countries from all around the world came to Targi Kielce. – TSW has moved to a better location. We changed the place and logo because the Fruit and Vegetable Farming Expo has always been on the leading edge of modernisation. From the very onset of the show, I have been surprised by the number of visitors. The turnout will probably exceed our expectations - Jacek Kłudka, director of the TSW at the official opening. – This is a perfect place to exhibit – Zbigniew Koniusz, the Voivode of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, echoed the TWS CEO.

– Thank you for this decision to move to Targi Kielce and to hold TSW  here. This token of trust is a further obligation to render top level services – said the President of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń PhD., adding - Our centre has been a part of Polish agriculture for years. We are the home for this part of Europe’s largest Agricultural Technology Fair AGROTECH . The venue change resulted in an increased interest of exhibitors from the south of Poland. “Kielce is perfectly situated. Kielce is close to almost everywhere, and Kielce is actually in the very centre of fruit and vegetable business in Poland - said the President of Targi Kielce.

Awards of the TSW expo

Shortly after the official opening held on the main stage, the Professor   Aleksander Szczepan Pieniążek awards for innovation were presented for the ninth time. The jury composed of: prof. Doctor Hab.  Dorota Konopacka, PhD. hab. Eng. Adam Ekielski, Professor  at SGGW, Professor Engineer, PhD. Hab Grzegorz Doruchowski, Professor  IO-PIB, PhD. Witold Boguta, Mariusz Podymniak and Jacek Kłudka awarded prizes to the following companies: Agro Smart Lab/BIO ACTIW for AGRO ECA PROTECT, Osmia Future LLC o. for Osmia Box - hive for solitary bees and Vantage Polska LLC for ROBOTTI. Additionally, the Agrosimex LLC was honored for the Rhizosum N plus.

Modern equipment for agriculture on show at Targi Kielce

For two days, 50 industry conferences and novelties plethora await all visitors. A new Landini model - Rex 4 with an electro-hydraulic gearbox, and Dominiak sprayers with a patented anti-drift system are worth noting. Machine manufacturers have also prepared many promotions for farmers visiting the show;  dozens of products are available cheaper and come with extras. The special offer includes orchard tractors, additional equipment for harvesters, foggers of probiotics and pest control agents, active harrows, and orchard sprayers and devices such as chain saws, sprayers, as well as secateurs.
