The Ekotech history

The first Ecology Technology Fair, Ekotech, focused on the presentation of innovative technologies and enabled companies and experts from the eco-technology industry to establish cooperation and exchange experiences. For years, the event has hosted market leaders, municipal equipment manufacturers, recycling sector representatives and waste management companies.

The Ecology Technology Fair Ekotech's then importance is evidenced by the fact that it was included in the calendar of events among the most significant events of the Kielce Trade Fair Centre, such as the International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA—POLSKA, the DOM Housing Construction and Residential Building Materials and Interior Design Expo, and the AGROTECH International Agricultural Technology Fair.

In subsequent expos, the Ekotech fair has evolved, adapting to changes in the ecological industry. The programme and exhibition of the fair reflected modern technologies, process automation, the development of the waste management sector, and ecological innovations in the management of secondary raw materials.

Ecotech now

In 2025, Ekotech celebrates its anniversary – the 25th event will take place on April 8-10 at Targi Kielce. Much has changed, but one thing remains the same: at the 25th anniversary edition of the Ekotech fair, the organisers place just as much emphasis on ecology and environmental protection as at the beginning. The exhibition will be packed with technological innovations for ecology and groundbreaking solutions for local governments, cities and industry.
