Concert of the “U Studni” band at the Per Artem Ad Deum medal award ceremony. Adam Ziemianin as a featured guest
The Per Artem Ad Deum medal has accompanied the Sacroexpo for 20 years. The Per Artem Ad Deum medal symbolises bridges built between beauty and spirituality, between human sensitivity and what is invisible and eternal. This year’s award was presented to two winners: Adam Ziemianin, an outstanding Kraków poet associated with the sung poetry movement, and the Jedność Publishing House, one of the oldest Catholic publishing houses in Poland. This year's Per Artem Ad Deum awards are presented during the gala on 2 June at 3pm at the Targi Kielce Congress Center. The event will gain extra splendour owing the concert by a band representing the poetry set to music "Land of Gentleness" genre , "U Studni," whose work is a subtle mixture of sung poetry, ballads, and reflective stories about man, the world, and spirituality. Most of the lyrics to the band's songs were written by Adam Ziemianin, who will be a guest performer during the concert and will recite his poems.
- For over nineteen years, the Per Artem Ad Deum award has advanced to become an international distinction ranked among awards important for the creative community operating in the sphere of the religious and spiritual and related to these domains. The jubilee, 20th medal presentation has a special meaning for us. On this occasion, we have planned a gala, which will be complemented by a concert of the band "U Studni" with a guest performance by one of the winners - Adam Ziemianin - emphasises Doctor Andrzej Mochoń, president of the management board of Targi Kielce.
At this year’s Sacroexpo, the volume of poems “To Tu – To Tam” published by Targi Kielce and Jedność will be presented for the first time. This premiere copy includes previously unpublished poems by the author, haiku poetry, and drawings by the poet Adam Ziemianin.

it arises from the idea of dialogue between culture and spirituality, between the artist and the human being, and also between the world and the spiritual. This prestigious distinction has been awarded since 2005 and has already been awarded to outstanding composers, including: Ennio Morricone, Krzysztof Penderecki and Wojciech Kilar, director Krzysztof Zanussi, Swiss architect Mario Botta, Benedictine monk and writer Anselm Grün and Kiko Argüello, initiator of the Neocatechumenal Way.
The exhibition abounds with art
Visitors to Targi Kielce from 2 to 4 June will be able to view and purchase modern religious art presented in the Art Zone organized by the Art in House Art Gallery and Auction House. This is a sales exhibition of several dozen works by contemporary artists known for their bold approach to spiritual themes, including: Boris Fedorovich. Some of the artists will be present at the exhibition in person, enabling direct conversations and exchange of ideas, including: Aleksander Grzybek – a sculptor from Podlasie, Sylwia Perczak – a painter and icon painter, and Krzysztof Pawłowski – a sculptor with a passion for working with stone join the show All works will be available for purchase at the show and via the artinhouse.pl website and the onebid.pl auction platform. A special place during Sacroexpo will be occupied by the exhibition "Art – a testimony of pilgrims of hope". This exhibition features works by Drapikowski Studio, such as a dress for the Jasna Góra Icon—a votive offering of the Polish Nation for the 100th anniversary of the re-coronation of the Miraculous Image, the Fatima Monstrance, the Medjugorje Monstrance, and the Altar of Adoration. Kielce artist Sławomir Micek offers an extraordinary sculptural installation combined with a spectacular performance; the presentation features a narrator, music and bell ringers assigned to each installation.
The art presented at the Sacroexpo will have a deeply symbolic character in the jubilee year – the 20th anniversary of the death of St. John Paul II and on the 20th anniversary of the beginning of the pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI. Two exhibitions - an exhibition of memorabilia related to Pope Benedict XVI, made available by the Diocesan Museum in Bydgoszcz, and an exhibition of Papal Madonnas - Regina Poloniae - prepared by the Christian Association of Sacred Art Creators ECCLESIA from Krakow. This display feature Marian images crowned by John Paul II and Benedict XVI, reminding us of the deep Marian dimension of both pontificates.
