09:00 - 17:00 Exhibition of Papal Madonnas - REGINA POLONIAE

Visitors will have a unique opportunity to see images of coronated Madonna icons on papal authority in Poland — representations deeply rooted in the spiritual tradition and history of the Church. The works have been created by artists united in the "Lumen" group — members of the Christian Association of Sacred Art Creators ECCLESIA. Each piece is not only an expression of artistic mastery but also a testament to faith and spiritual reflection.

The exhibition "REGINA POLONIAE" is a special way to commemorate the pontificates of two great popes and to pay homage to the Mother of God — as the one who continually accompanies the Church.

Among other things, the following will be presented:

A gown of gratitude, love, suffering, and hope for the Our Lady of Częstochowa Icon.
The gown was made on the hundredth anniversary of the coronation of the Miraculous Image with crowns by Saint Pius X. It is a votive offering from the Polish people both from Poland and abroad. The crowns for the image were blessed by Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on March 3, 2010. The ceremony of placing the crowns and the vestment on the Miraculous Image took place at Jasna Góra on September 4, 2010.

The gown of the Mother of God is made from gold, silver, opals, labradorites, sapphires, amber, as well as natural meteorites, planetary stones from the Moon, Mars, and Mercury.

The gown of Jesus was created from red-colored stones: rubies and tourmalines.
