At Smytec we aim to transform and simplify forensic evidence recovery through cutting-edge technology. Our patented technology, BlindSite, combines multi and hyperspectral imaging in a handheld, portable camera, up to 650× more sensitive than the human eye.

BlindSite is a unique imaging system designed for search-and-capture of multiple types of evidence: latent fingermarks, body fluids, trace DNA, hidden tattoos, post-blast fingermarks, and other traces, providing a comprehensive, all-in-one solution for both field and lab environment.

It offers a non-contact-non-destructive approach, reducing contamination risks while preserving evidence for further analysis. Its consistent performance in both bright and dark conditions reduces scene setup requirements, removes the need for physical enhancement, and delivers a fast precise tool, without leaving a trace.

BlindSite can search for evidence at distances up to 10m and capture details as close as 10cm. Its integrated AFIS enables rapid identification, saving time, cost, and resources. A secondary camera captures scene images, automatically overlaying evidence into the image of the scene, while a digital scale bar maintains an end-to-end non-contact tool.
