Description
Grupa Azoty Polyolefins is part of Grupa Azoty - one of the largest chemical concerns in Poland and Europe. We create the Polyolefin segment - a business unit specialized in the production of Polypropylene.

Our integrated chemical complex in Police includes:
- An offshore gas terminal that will enable the supply of two key raw materials for the investment, namely propane and ethylene. Three tanks have been built at the Police gas terminal - two for propane with a capacity of 40 000 m3 each and one for ethylene with a capacity of 12 000 m3.

- A propylene plant for the production of propane dehydrogenation (PDH). Oleflex® technology licensed from UOP is used to carry out a catalytic propane dehydrogenation process, which is expected to produce propylene with a capacity of 429 thousand tons per year.
Polypropylene plant. Grace's UNIPOL®technology is based on vapor-phase polymerization and provides a simple and economical way to produce a wide range of polypropylene types of the highest quality.

- The PP plant will produce at a capacity of 437,000 tons of polypropylene in total in three types: homopolymers, impact copolymers and random copolymers.

- State-of-the-art logistics infrastructure Provides a storage, logistics and shipping area for polypropylene. At the heart of the Logistics Platform are 60 storage silos, with a capacity of about 450 tons of PP granulate in each silo. A storage yard for bagged product provides storage capacity for 22,400 tons of PP. The total capacity of the logistics platform considering all 60 storage silos and the external storage yard is about 50 thousand tons.

Poduced in Police Polypropylene Gryfilen® is a high-quality, thermoplastic, safe material, designed for a wide range of applications.
