About the event
PLASTPOL 2023. The latest technologies, million-dollar contracts and discussions about critical challenges
About half of the exhibitors are foreign companies representing Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Spain, the Netherlands, India, Ireland, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Sweden, Slovakia, Taiwan, Ukraine, UK, Hungary, Latvia and China. - This is the first international event held at Targi Kielce since the pandemic, which brings together numerous participation of Asian companies. About 100 companies from China alone have exhibited here. We've been waiting for such a market rebound after the pandemic - said Andrzej Mochoń PhD, President of the Board, Targi Kielce – The international presentation of the companies was impressive, they occupied all seven expo halls of our exhibition and congress centre. The expo stands, especially those with the most modern processing, refining and recycling machines, attracted crowds of people. There were business talks, many of them had already took a real shape.
– This year's Plastpol offered this rare opportunity to drink champagne in self-recognition, because we managed to sell a few machines. Not to mention the numerous interested professionals calling in our expo stand - says Konrad Szymczak from Arburg Polska.
Many exhibitors also emphasized the high quality of the talks. – Our expo stand was packed with customers, and also people who would like to learn about our latest technologies, even about Industry 4.0. We are here every year and we will exhibit next year as well - Adam Marciniak from Engel Polska makes his promises.
PLASTPOL - where business people discuss contracts worth millions
Plastpol 2023 also witnessed the signing of the first distribution agreement between the Polish recycler of plastics - ML Polyolefins and the distributor from Western Europe - Brenntag. Challenges in the plastics processing industry discussed at Plastpol
The business atmosphere and the presence of companies from around the world were conducive to future projections. The PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation, the representation of plastics producers in Poland, follows many-year tradition and presents the current data on the plastics industry situation in Poland on Europe's backdrop. The Plastics and Rubber Processing Fair PLASTPOL is the presentation arena. Much was also said about challenges such as circularity in plastics processing. Further problems related to plastics processing and the management of recyclate as well as the reduction of the production of non-recyclable waste were discussed at the conference "Recycling of plastics - one goal, many possibilities". Advanced polymer materials - technologies, processing, and applications were the subject of lectures and discussions held within the scope of the Plastech Info Technical Seminar.
- Thematic scope of the seminar mainly pertains to the role and importance of plastics in everyday human life, the material that gives the opportunity to develop and implement innovative solutions for the constantly changing needs and challenges of society. Plastics are comprehensive, durable and offer great potential to adapt to various needs. Plastics are unusual materials, inextricably linked with industry's and technology's development, innovativeness and science." highlights Jacek Szczerba, representing the Tworzywa.PL website.
