The FPL expo is a golden opportunity to bring together producers, distributors and representatives of retail chains from Poland and abroad. Manufacturers find the trade shop a great chance to prosper for new customers. Retail chains can share their observations and expectations regarding their branded products.

We invite both international corporations and smaller companies specialising in the production of private labels for specific retail chains. We also welcome companies that attempt to establish their presence in retail chains. The FUTURE PRIVATE LABLE expo presents products from various categories; mainly food, cosmetics, household chemicals and household goods.

Private labels are in vogue

The current 19% share of private labels in the FMCG sector means that one zloty in five is spent on private label products! According to NielsenIQ research, the private labels sales in Poland reported significantly faster growth in the previous year (by 10.7%) than branded products' sales increase (7.8%). According to the Agency, the value of the private label market in Poland in the period from July 2021 to June 2022 amounted to PLN 39.95 billion. A year earlier, it was PLN 36.09 billion in the same period.

The private labels success also results from their positive perception,  not only in terms of price but also quality. A study by the GFK research agency shows that buying private-label products is perceived as a sign of consumer intelligence. Buyers see themselves as smart-shoppers  regardless of where they live and what earning level they belong to. Respondents treated private labels on an equal footing with manufacturers' brands.

In 2022, Polish agri-food exports reached the record-breaking value of EUR 47.6 billion. According to the Bank Pekao SA report, Polish exporters should focus on Asian countries and increase sales to North African countries and the European Union.

The speeches will focus on 4 areas which shape the future of the FMCG industry: product innovation, technology, retail transformation, and society and sustainable development.

Polish Organisation of Commerce and Distribution POHID and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency are indicated the most important organisations which enhance relations between Polish producers and the global market. Both actively support the FPL Expo, both as knowledge partners and as a source of contacts.

The fundamental mission of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is to boost the direct foreign investments level in our country as well as the range and dynamics of Polish enterprises' internationalisation. Targi Kielce has a similar goal, thus, cooperation was a natural step.

The Agency will acquire new customers for Polish companies that are exhibitors at Targi Kielce (buyers, representatives of retail chains, cooperating companies, and intermediaries and direct recipients) in foreign markets.

POHiD is an employers' organisation whose members' list include the largest retail chains that have invested EUR 60 billion in Poland and created 250,000 jobs. The organisation's overriding objective is to represent the interests of its members' vis a vis public authorities and other organisations in the economic environment. POHiD works to protect free competition and free access to the market for all economic entities in Poland.
