Visiting Pasieka Jaros on the Occasion of International Mead Day

On the occasion of International Mead Day, Anna Dwojewska, Project Manager of Expo2Bee and her Assistant Project Manager, Paulina Oleś, visited Pasieka Jaros to gain an up-close look at the mead production process and the craft of ceramics
The visit to the meadery, the apiary and the ceramic workshop offered not only an opportunity to explore the intricacies of producing this unique beverage but also a chance to discuss the development of the mead industry in Poland. It is precisely for this sector that the organizers of Expo2Bee are planning a special zone during next year’s exhibition, which will take place on 9 - 10 May 2026 at Targi Kielce.
During their visit, the representatives from Targi Kielce observed the fermentation process and learned how the bottles and ceramic vessels used to serve the mead are created. As they noted, this visit further strengthened their conviction that mead production should play an integral role in Expo2Bee 2026.
