Chief Inspectorate of Agricultural and Food Quality as Patron of Expo2Bee

15 December 2025
The Chief Inspectorate of Agricultural and Food Quality (GIJHARS) has taken patronage over the Expo2Bee trade fair—an event dedicated to beekeeping, bee products, and broadly understood food safety and quality. The presence of the Inspectorate highlights the importance of the fair as a venue for substantive discussion on market standards, fair competition, and consumer protection.

The role of the Chief Inspectorate of Agricultural and Food Quality is particularly significant in the context of the honey market, which in recent years has faced challenges related to product adulteration, incorrect labeling, and the influx of raw materials of unclear origin. The Inspectorate is responsible for controlling the commercial quality of agricultural and food products, including honey, ensuring its authenticity, compliance with producers’ declarations, and adherence to applicable regulations.

GIJHARS’s patronage of Expo2Bee is part of efforts to promote Polish honey as a high-quality product based on domestic beekeeping traditions and strict production standards. The fair provides a space for the exchange of knowledge between beekeepers, producers, control institutions, and consumers, as well as for discussions on market transparency and building trust in bee products originating from Poland.

With the support of the Chief Inspectorate of Agricultural and Food Quality, Expo2Bee strengthens its position as an event that combines market practice with responsibility for quality, safety, and the reputation of Polish beekeeping products.
