Slowly about tourism, health and the importance of rest. SlowTravel Expo has commenced
The event was attended by representatives of the provincial and city governments, representatives of tourist organisations and government administration. The Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Renata Janik, the President of Kielce Agata Wojda, a member of the voivodeship board and the President of the Regional Tourist Organisation of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Anita Koniusz, and the Director of the Office of the Regional Tourist Organisation of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and a councillor of the voivodeship self-government Marcin Piętak delivered their opening speeches. Przemysław Saltarski, director of the Department of Education and Social Policy at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, spoke about nationwide trends in tourism; the president of Targi Kielce, Doctor Andrzej Mochoń, spoke about the role of the SlowTravel in promoting the tourist attractions of the Świętokrzyskie region.
Short speeches emphasised the key importance of tourism development for the Świętokrzyskie region. They discussed its role in building the local economy, promoting cultural heritage, and improving residents' quality of life. Attention was also drawn to the dynamic development of health tourism, which is one of the region’s advantages.
After the trade fair's official opening, the 2nd Świętokrzyskie Health Tourism Forum began under the slogan "Turn on your super powers." During this forum, guests could listen to lectures and participate in panel discussions.
