Premiere from Raiffeisen Waren at the Agrotech Expo - the SONIC precision seeder by SKY Agriculture

27 February 2026
Agrotech Expo, 13 to 15 March 2026, is an opportunity for farmers to see many precision farming solutions. One of the top-ranking machines is showcased at the Raiffeisen Waren expo stand - the SONIC precision seeder by SKY Agriculture – a model designed with the highest standards of accuracy, efficiency and versatility in mind when sowing corn, soybeans, rapeseed and beetroot.

SONIC is the result of many years of development work, combining technology, agronomy and flexibility of use, and the machine uses the Precision Planting system, which ensures over 99% seed placement accuracy even at speeds exceeding 12 km/h. The perfectly controlled vacuum system guarantees stable seed placement in the soil – without bounce or damage – even with lighter species.

High-quality work under difficult conditions is ensured by hydraulic pressure of up to 350 kg on the sowing section, which translates into excellent soil penetration and the ability to maintain the set sowing depth. Additionally, farmers can benefit from the option to transfer some of the tractor's weight, which increases efficiency across different soil types.

The RowMotion technology, which allows you to change the row spacing directly in the field, without having to dismantle the section, is one of the distinguishing features of SONIC;  this solution allows the machine to be quickly adapted to different crops and crop rotation systems. The design with double discs set at a 9° angle (instead of the standard 12°) reduces soil disturbance, reduces weed emergence and helps retain moisture in the top layer.

The machine comes standard with features that enhance precision and comfort, including floating residue depositors, turbo discs for direct seeding, double microgranulators, and full ISOBUS compatibility. Farmers can choose from six types of closing wheels, adapting the configuration to soil conditions.

As the manufacturer emphasises, SONIC is not just a precision seeder, but a strategic tool for farms focused on high efficiency, crop diversification and cost optimisation.

Raiffeisen Waren's presence at the Agrotech Expo with such a technologically advanced solution confirms the growing importance of precision farming and digital crop management systems.

These and many other innovative machines will be on display at Targi Kielce from March 13, 2026. Tickets are available at agrotech.pl
