Practical knowledge abundance at the MKBR 2022

27 october 2022
Exciting lectures, experts' advice and information that is difficult to obtain even at specialised universities. The first day of this year's International Congress of Accounting Offices at Targi Kielce includes only panels, and an abundance of practical workshops.

On 26 October, the MKBR 2022 offers workshops. Lots of topics related to the accounting industry. Digitisation of accounting processes is the congress' leitmotif.

Automation of accounting processes from the SaldeoSMART perspective

Adam Niewiedzioł from the Saldeo discussed the future of internal and external document circulation, as well as the problematic issue of allocation.

- Today, 90 per cent of bookkeeping is done manually, and sometimes even the process of allocation is omitted altogether. This solution significantly slows down the workflow and should become a thing of the past - convinces Adam Niewiedzioł.

Data security, process automation and optimisation of cooperation with clients - this is how DocuWare supports employees of accounting offices

Security is one of the most controversial in the accounting industry,  solutions already exist, but they are often misunderstood by those working with virtual document databases. The workshop was chaired by Wojciech Jankowski, who suggested and explained how to enter the digitisation path safely.

Document circulation in the digital transformation process

The digital document management system's implementation speeds up the work of accounting offices by 40 to 60 per cent on average. The results according to research by Suncode. However, digitisation is not a painless process.

- Employee per diem, mileage and emergency costs - the processes most wanted by customers in document management systems - says Tomasz Szlachta, operational director of Suncode, the company which creates such solutions.

The workshop discussed the implementation of the BPM process, is the biggest problem and what is digitised accounting expected to deliver.

Enova365 in an accounting office in the age of technological challenges and legal changes

Companies keep trying to outdo each other in constructing more complex software for digital document handling. Real life challenges impede effective implementation. The Polish Deal is the example as it thwarts the plans of even the most meticulous accounting office. Various models of e-invoices, ERP systems and implementation of new regulations into accounting systems  were discussed by Agnieszka Opalińska, associated with the IT industry for over 10 years.

How to optimise the accounting office's workflow to increase the margin and make the most of technology

Anita Gołębiewska - Operational Director of CashDirector SA and the originator and Managing Director of the National Network of Certified Accounting Offices, has popularised modern technologies for accounting services for over 10 years. The workshop at this year's MKBR explored the most critical topics for the accounting sector, i.e. how to start earning more on implementing new technological solutions.

Effective time self-management

Sometimes the problem is not the system, its implementation or regulations, but the human factor;  burnout is one of the most unpleasant threats in the accounting industry. Lilianna Kupaj - the owner and managing director of the Educational Coaching School, the president of the board and the founder of the Foundation for Conscious Development of Education, spoke about effective workload and effective working time management.

Constant legislative changes - How to stay abreast of the regulations maze and not go crazy?

Marcin Zarzycki and Grzegorz Niebudek are long-term Managing Partners at LTCA;  they joined MKBR and revealed little-known facts. These are the key ways to navigate in the cloudy maze of regulations and to make implementation smooth and painless.
