Pigeons BREEDER are generous-hearted people

The District Exhibition of Carrier Pigeons of Kielce District includes the charity pigeon auctions. The auction has already become the exhibition tradition; specimens are offered by exhibitors. This year, PLN 33,500 was raised for the Regional Polyclinical Hospital.

As Sławomir Pająk, the President of Kielce District at the Polish Association of Carrier Pigeons, observes, the charitable auction whose objective is to support the  Paediatric Oncology Department at the Wł. Buszkowski Specialist Provincial Children's Hospital has generated an avid interest among pigeon breeders. The best specimens are presented by union members from all corners of Poland. Other breeders are equally eager to bid to win the donated specimens. Today, the most expensive one was auctioned for PLN 6,000; its high price was determined by its origin.

Several thousand PLN from today's auction also went to educational and care facilities. Targi Kielce Wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to all those who participated in a charity auction during47. Regional Carrier Pigeons Exhibition.
