MSPO 2024: preparations in a decisive phase

An open day for the general public, support from the Ministry of National Defence and other key issues were discussed at the Programme Board of the International Defence Industry Exhibition meeting

The meeting of the Board was held in Warsaw and was chaired by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense, Paweł Bejda. The Secretary assured the Targi Kielce delegation of the Ministry's support in organisational matters, including inviting foreign delegations at the ministerial level. Representatives of institutions supporting MSPO also declared their involvement in preparing knowledge-disseminating meetings during this year's Exhibition. The Lead Nation Exhibition was also discussed - confirmation of which country will be the leading nation at this year expo is expected by the end of March. The Armed Forces Exhibition, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year was also discussed. The Armed Forces Exhibition is coordinated by the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces.  As part of the anniversary celebrations, Saturday, 7 September is the open day to the public.

The International Defence Industry Exhibition has been granted the honorary auspices of the Republic of Poland President, Mr.  Andrzej Duda.  The Polish Armaments Group has been the Strategic Partner of the International Defence Industry Exhibition.

In 2023, the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition inaugurated the "Al Worden Endeavor Scholarship" project in the Republic of Poland. The project objective is to encourage young people from our country to work as engineers and space explorers. The project finals is when 4 students and a teacher are selected to participate in a week-long training for astronauts in the Space & Rocket Center in the United States
