LVD novelties presented at the Industrial Spring
At this year's STOM-LASER - the Industrial Laser and Laser Technology Expo, LVD will focus on process efficiency benefits. They do so by presenting a robotic bending cell powered by a Dyna-Press electric press brake with Easy-Form® Laser system, a powerful Puma 3015 12 kW laser cutter, and the integrated CADMAN® software suite
THE NEW DEFINITION OF BENDING AUTOMATION
The Dyna-Cell robotic cell redefines bending automation - unlike old robotic systems, the Dyna-Cell is flexible, easy to use and efficient and thus ideal for automatic bending of small to medium-sized parts up to 350mm x 500mm.
LVD's CADMAN-SIM software enables a fast "from design to product" process as generating the CAM bending software needs 10 minutes to program the robot, and another 10 minutes is necessary for the configuration and production of the first detail. There is no need to teach the robot as Dyna-Cell is also equipped with a universal gripper, capable of bending three sides of a part without changing the grip, thus ensuring a continuous production process.
Dyna-Cell features the unique Easy-Form®Laser adaptive bending system to ensure repeatable accuracy, which ensures the right bend angle from the first operation. The system allows the machine to adapt to materials of different thicknesses, elasticity and fibres, automatically compensating for any changes.
Dyna-Cell is designed to operate in automatic mode but can also function as a standalone press brake when automation is unsuitable.
ECONOMICAL FIBRE LASER PROCESSING
The latest laser cutting machine from LVD meets the growing demand for a versatile laser cutting machines designed to maximise the value of the user's investment and to lower the cost per part.
The Puma is designed to combine economical machining with advanced features that optimise cutting performance. The machining accuracy is guaranteed by the rigid frame structure, which is standard for LVD lasers for maximum stability and minimise deformation due to high acceleration.
The latest head technology ensures consistent quality and machining stability and collision protection, automatic focus adjustment and a capacitive height sensor. This scheme also enables automated sheet positioning, process gas selection, pressure adjustment and nozzle cleaning. The machine's high dynamics are perfect for the efficient processing of various materials of different thicknesses.
Puma supports 3050 x 1525 mm, 4065 x 2035 mm and
6160 x 2035mm sheets processing. The laser is suitable for MOVIT Load Assist automation and comes with a 3, 6 or 12 kW power.
ADVANCED SOFTWARE
Manufacturers are turning to the digitisation and smart production, LVD, owing to its integration philosophy and CADMAN® software package, supports companies in implementing Industry 4.0 solutions. The STOM expo is the show for a complete set of CADMAN software products, along with new functions that improve the workflow.
