Icons' light in photography – the photo exhibition at Sacroexpo
The Sacroexpo guests are offered the chance to admire the exhibition "The light of an icon in the photography of Antoni Myśliwiec", featuring historic and contemporary icons from various places. There is a common denominator of the presented icons - the eponymous light emanates from the photos. The exhibition has already been presented in the Gallery of Contemporary Religious Art "House of the Washerwoman" in Kielce.
Antoni Myśliwiec, an artist from Kielce, and a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers is the author of photos used in a plethora of publications, museums and advertising catalogues. He shares his photography knowledge with children and young people, as well as with students of the University of the Third Age. He has many individual and collective exhibitions, his works are in the collections of Jerzy Olek's "ef" Gallery, BWA in Kielce and in the Kielce History Museum. Antoni Myśliwiec educates photography enthusiasts to find endless possibilities, as he can present memorable scenes in the simplest form, without utilising modern equipment. Myśliwiec uses his skills, and in particular his ability of photographic imaging, imagination, sense of aesthetics and sensitivity. He observes the reality and recreates through his personal vision of the world and of a specific object. His photography art and ability to capture colours and lights leave various interpretations.
