ENEX in great demand

Industry, services, trade, and above all, households need electricity. Face-to-face meetings, exchange of arguments and getting to know new solutions - all those using electricity were offered to delve deep into the business sector's problems at the ENEX 2006 held for the 9th time in Targi Kielce.

The energy sector is the fast-growing branch of the economy; without enervy other industries cannot develop. The 9th International Energy Fair ENEX and the Fair of Renewable Sources of Energy ENEX-NEW ENERGY held from 21 to 23 March 2006 offered the opportunity to present the latest technical and technological solutions for the power engineering business sector. The exhibitors' list included 93 firms from Poland, Germany, Slovakia and Sweden. The expo was targeted at entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, constructors, power engineers, representatives of science, local government authorities and people interested in using renewable energy sources.

The exhibition was complemented by a rich and diversified programme of specialised conferences and  discussions.  The "Nuclear Energy for Poland" conference was the first conference aimed at providing the public with true and objective information on the current problems of nuclear energy and the possibility of introducing nuclear energy in Poland.  The "Organisation of the energy sector" debate was equally important. The event also focused on the rational use of energy from renewable sources  - the conference   "Renewable energy sources - Enex 2006" organised by the Energy and Environmental Protection Chamber of Commerce and Targi Kielce was the discussion platform.  The Biomass Exhibition included the "Biomass Boilers Avenue" and an exhibition of ecological fuel from biomass.

The best products and services presented at the expo received awards in competitions. The Medal of the President of SEP was one of the distinctions. ENEX 2006 was held under the patronage of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers.

The 25th jubilee International Power Industry Fair ENEX and the 20th Fair of Renewable Sources of Energy ENEX - New Energy are held on 8 and 9 March 2023 in Targi Kielce. The event is accompanied by the EKOTECH International Environmental Protection and Waste Management Expo. The jubilee abound with attractions prepared for visitors.

Rolls-Royce among reactors - technology discussed at Targi Kielce
