EKOTECH moves forward. The trade fair is now on 3–4 March 2027

03 November 2026
The 27th EKOTECH Circular Economy Trade Fair will take place at Expo Kielce on 3 and 4 March 2027, almost two months earlier than originally planned. The new dates replace the previously announced 27–29 April. In addition, the format is changing too. Next year’s expo will run over two days.

For many businesses, early March is when purchases are planned and investments prepared for the months ahead. Bringing EKOTECH forward gives them the opportunity to see what manufacturers and technology suppliers offer before they commit to buying equipment or upgrading their facilities.

‘March is a good time for a trade fair like this. Many companies have already set their budgets, but decisions on equipment purchases and new investments are still being made. So visitors can come to EKOTECH, look at the solutions available, compare offers and talk to suppliers before making a final decision,’ says Marcin Musiał, EKOTECH Project Manager.

EKOTECH opens its doors to the water and wastewater sector

EKOTECH remains an event dedicated to the circular economy, including waste management, recycling and resource recovery. For the 2027 edition, the organisers are also extending the trade fair's scope to include the water and wastewater sector, opening the event to a new group of companies and technology suppliers.

The trade fair brings machinery and equipment manufacturers together with representatives of municipal service companies, waste-processing plants, local authorities, and industry.

New dates for the 27th EKOTECH Circular Economy Trade Fair: 3–4 March 2027, Expo Kielce.

The bin’s been emptied, the bin lorry disappears round the corner, and as far as residents are concerned, that’s that. For the city, though, this is where the real work begins: sorting, recovering and processing everything we’ve thrown away. The more that can be recovered, the more material goes back into circulation and the less ends up in landfills. World Cities Day is a good moment to take a look behind the scenes.

14 October is International E-Waste Day, which is a good moment to open your drawers and count how many old phones you’re keeping ‘just in case’, cables for devices you stopped using long ago, and chargers made obsolete by newer standards. This isn’t just unwanted kit: it’s materials and resources that could be going back into circulation.

International Coffee Day is the perfect excuse to explain the circular economy with a simple example. The beans give us our brew, and the grounds needn’t end up in the general waste bin: put to good use, they can help the next crop of plants to grow. It’s exactly this kind of thinking that increasingly defines EKOTECH, the Circular Economy Trade Fair.
