BGK PartnerS Agro B2B Forum. Supporting Polish Companies Looking for New Markets
Finding a buyer abroad is only the beginning of the journey towards securing a contract. The next steps involve arranging financing, agreeing payment terms and planning investment. This is where Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), Poland’s development bank, supports Polish businesses. Its mission is to foster the country’s social and economic development, with strengthening the position of Polish companies on international markets forming an important part of its activities.
BGK provides financing for exports and international investment, drawing on both its own resources and the government’s Financial Support for Exports programme. It also facilitates business contacts and the settlement of transactions with foreign entities. The bank supports Polish businesses operating in more than 80 markets worldwide.
Support can also extend to expanding a business beyond Poland, including the acquisition of a foreign company, the construction of a production facility or the development of a distribution centre. BGK offers investment financing to Polish companies and their foreign subsidiaries carrying out such projects. These solutions are designed for businesses seeking to establish a lasting presence in new markets.
Agro B2B Forum, organised at Expo Kielce during the International Agricultural Technology Trade Show Agrotech, provides opportunities to build international business relationships. The forum is aimed at manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, technology providers, food-processing companies, exporters and distributors. It combines knowledge of international markets with practical business experience: following the expert sessions, the AgroBusiness Mixer offers scheduled, face-to-face meetings between potential trading partners.
The forum’s international partners help connect Polish businesses with importers, distributors and investors interested in Polish products and services. Five organisations are already involved in preparations for the second edition: Mamay Group from Ethiopia, Rwapol Ltd from Rwanda, First International Business and Engineering Ltd from Guinea, BrazAfric Ltd from Kenya and Africa Poland Chamber of Commerce LBG from Ghana. Among other things, the organisations have pledged to promote the event, support the organisation of business missions and recruit participants for meetings with Polish manufacturers.
The first edition of the forum, held during Agrotech 2026, generated 150 B2B meetings and 39 partnership agreements and commercial contracts. The next edition will build on these relationships while opening up new sales opportunities.
Agro B2B Forum will take place on 13 March 2027 at Expo Kielce, as part of the 32nd International Agricultural Technology Trade Show Agrotech, running from 12 to 14 March 2027.
