DIWA NXT: Time for a Full-Fledged Mild Hybrid System
Make way for DIWA NXT, the next generation of Driventic’s proven DIWA automatic transmission. The standout feature of this full-fledged mild hybrid system is its optimized efficiency: It features seven gears, a frequency converter, and a secondary retarder. The optional central recuperation unit (CRU) transforms the DIWA NXT into a full-fledged 48-V mild hybrid system—which improves fuel economy, enables electric assist functions, and recovers braking energy. And it does so for both city and intercity buses.

VEDS 1.5: Still Pioneering and Best-in-Class
Since 2025, the VEDS 1.5 has impressed with a future-proof new inverter system (DIS) that includes an integrated diagnostics and management unit (DMU), an automotive-compliant connector system for quick installation, and a compact and lightweight design. And it delivers a peak power output of up to 390 kW. In addition, it meets all relevant automotive cybersecurity standards based on ISO 21434. Depending on the application and requirements, the VEDS 1.5 is available in either the “Small Scope” (basic configuration) or the “Extended Scope” (expanded configuration). This ensures that Driventic remains best-in-class.
