in fine arts and academic lecturer, has been promoting Slovak visual art for years — he has curated over 500 group exhibitions and 400 solo exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad (Germany, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Italy, and others).

During the exhibition, works by artists from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, and Ukraine will be displayed, including Silvia Petrová (Slovakia), Svitlana Dudenko (Ukraine), and Waltraut Chimani (Austria).

All paintings exhibited at the event will be available for purchase.

Art in House Auction House aims to adopt a modern approach to religious art. Since ancient times, the Church has served as a patron and guardian of artists, introducing the most contemporary and outstanding works of art into temples. SACROEXPO seeks to revive this tradition by
showcasing modern and original works with religious themes at the fair.

The artists whose works will accompany us at this year's exhibition are Teresa Pastuszka-Kowalska, Joanna Mieszko, and Aleksandra Elizabethe Wojtysiak.

The exhibition will have a commercial nature – all displayed works will be available for purchase both on-site and through the Art in House website (artinhouse.pl) as well as the auction platform onebid.pl.

Contemporary Devotional Art is Possible – The Story of the 21st-Century “Pietà”.

What could a “Pietà” look like in modern times? How can
our era comment on the event of the Deposition of Christ from the Cross and add a new, fresh reflection to it? Is it possible to create a depiction that is completely different from the pattern left to us by Michelangelo?

During the SACROEXPO Fair, you will have the opportunity to see this with your own eyes. We cordially invite you to the unveiling of Piotr Barszczowski’s latest work.
